So enough about 2 slice toasters, toasters oven, convection toasters and all the blah. If you stopped here, you are probably looking for a good, if not great, four slice toaster. This is not an easy search, there are a lot of models and brands on the market, including a lot of junk! Again, you may not be looking for the same features as someone else. This is why I present you different models and brands of 4 slice toasters at different price ranges and including different features. If you have any suggestion for other great 4 slice toaters, do not hesitate to leave me a comment so I can research it and let people know about it!

1.	Breville BTA840XL Die-Cast 4-Slice Smart Toaster There is doubt, Breville is far the best 4 slice toaster I have seen so far. I bought it for my family last year, and we have been extremely satisfied with it so far! The slots are wide, perfect for a bagel. There is a control button for different settings : toast, a bit more, bagel (one side only), defrost, and lift-and-look functions. The only downsize is that the toaster is terrible expensive (like any other Breville appliances). But if you can overlook its price, not only it does look very nice in the kitchen (a beautiful brushed stainless steel finish) but is also heavy duty. The Breville four slice toaster is a professional grade appliance for every day use and my favorite. I highly recommend it.
2.	KitchenAid KMTT400 Toaster, 4 Slice This ia good appliance, good quality and fairly heavy duty. While, in my opinion, I rather pay the extra money for the fancier Breville or less for the T-Fal 4 slice, people who own one are overall very satisfied with the quality of this kitchen appliance. I think one of the best think about this toaster is the great customer service from KitchenAid. KitchenAid are well-known to provide excellent customer service, so if you have any problem with your appliance, you will be promptly helped.
3.	Back to Basics TEM4500 4-Slot Egg-and-Muffin Toaster Say by to McDonald's, say hi to a genius invention! This is a must for any busy family and a must if you like to have your family over for breakfast or over the holidays! These 4 slice toasters come with... an egg cooker!! This fun kitchen appliance can make you four toasts and 2 eggs in less than five minutes, with minimal cleaning after!  It even included an egg basket that can hard- or soft-boil up to eight eggs at once. Another well thought feature is a longer power cord. While it is okay to toast your bread underneath your cupboard, this is not so much a good idea with cooking or boiling eggs. With a longer power cord, you can pull the 4 slice toaster/egg cooker out to the front of the counter. Your family or guests will not be disappointed, plus it is so fun to use and needless to mention, very affordable!
4.	T-Fal TT7461002 Avante Deluxe 4-Slice Toaster If you find that paying close to $200 for 4 slice toasters is outrageous (which is kind of is in my opinion, but again, I like outrageous things =), you will be more than happy to hear that you can find a great gem for about $60 with this T-Fal 4 slice toaster. Good quality, slanted design for more style, it toast bread and bagel perfectly. With the slanted design, on very rare occasions, lighter toasters can sometimes be ejected out of the unit when ready, but this will bring more laughters than inconvenience.
5.	Hamilton Beach 24708 Toastation 4-Slice Toaster and Oven. This is a perfect combination appliance. Featuring a 4 slice toaster at the top and an oven at the bottom. These 4 slice toaters are very practical if you have a small kitchen or little counter space. So if you are looking for a good toaster and a good small oven, but have no more room for two appliances, this is the ultimate compact kitchen appliance to own. I actually have one of these in the apartment I share with my roomates. Of course, it was not designed to roast a chicken, but does a wonderful job at toasting bread, baking pizza rolls and even coookies! A wonderful space-saving and economical product I highly recommend for anybody looking to reduce their number of appliances.

This great toaster is the perfect product for anybody who never have enough time in the morning to make a proper breakfast. My good friend confirms, he's been using it at least 2-3 days per week for the last 2 years, and has enjoyed waiting for his breakfast to cook while he was busy pouring coffee and packing his lunch. Everyone who owned one has bought one as a present for someone else they loved it so much! Fool proof too!
3.	Bodum 10709-01US Bistro 2-Slice Toaster with Bagel and Bun Warmer The perfect gadget for the funky person! A great toaster that comes in many colors : black, green as a lime, red, bright orange and off white. A toaster that cooks fast and works great. and that will suit any style. Great little toaster with a flair!
4.	Haier TST850DS Die-Cast Stainless-Steel 2-Slice Toaster Want a simple 2 slice toasters without the bells and whistles and especially the cost of a Breville? I recommend the Haier TST850DS. This stainless steel toaster is a durable product with a look for the 50's that will make more than one nostalgic.
5.	Haier TST120SS Stainless-Steel Long-Slot 2-Slice Digital Toaster Great little gem! If you have limited space, and are looking for a great way to warm up your favorite slice of bread fast (other than those bad radiations from the microwave!), the Haier TST120SS in stainless steel will solve all your problems. This item has large slots, and will suit people who love their slice of bread thick!

A good toaster will last year many years, but remember that long past are the days where a toaster will last you 25 years. Nowadays, toasters will last you 5-10 years. But we traded off for something more fun too : fun looks and cool features. Happy toasting!

Do you have a toaster at home? If you don’t, you should consider buying one, because using a toaster for breakfast or a snack is so much easier than using your oven. Not only do you get better results with a toaster, but most also have settings that let you decide how you want your bread: lightly toasted, medium or black. Toasters come with plenty of options to choose from, from the color to the number of slots (typically 2 or 4 slices). You can also purchase a toaster that can toast bagels, and there are even toasters that can do different tasks at the same time, like cooking your eggs while toasting your bread.

Before buying a toaster, you should make sure that you pick the one that best fits your needs. For example, if you have a larger family, you might want to consider 4 slice toasters instead of a 2 slice. There are also other features to consider.

First, you should look for even toasting, which is probably the most important feature to look for. A perfect, even toasting eliminates the need to toast the bread twice or to turn it upside down (what a hassle when you have to repeat it every day!).

Second, look for long and wide slots. This is especially true if you are a fan of bagels, you’ll want 4 slice toasters with wide and long slots to fit in your bagels! This helps ensure that your bagels won’t get stuck in the four slice toaster.

You may also want to look for a crumbs tray. Fortunately, good four slice toasters come with a crumbs tray, which helps reduce the mess and makes cleaning easier.
